Flair Airlines at the CNE: Three Digital Booths, 18 Days

Flair Airlines ran a branded digital photo experience across the Canadian National Exhibition, with three digital photo booths in three high traffic locations every day of the fair.

Overview

Flair Airlines came back to PhotoboothTO as a returning client for one of the biggest stages in Toronto: the CNE at Exhibition Place. The activation ran from August 21 to September 7, 2026, from 10 AM to 8:30 PM every day, with setup on August 20 and teardown on September 8.

The same week, Flair also booked an Instapod with instant prints for a festival at Pearson Banquet Hall in Brampton on September 7.

The Challenge

The CNE is spread out, and Flair wanted to meet fairgoers in more than one place. That meant three booths in three different zones of the grounds, each staffed for a full 10.5 hour day, every day, for more than two weeks.

With no prints at the CNE, the digital experience had to carry the brand on its own, and the booths had to be stored securely on the grounds each night and rebuilt each morning.

Key considerations included:

  • Three locations across Exhibition Place at the same time
  • Long daily hours over 18 consecutive days
  • A fully branded digital experience with no prints
  • Nightly storage on the grounds and a fresh setup each morning
  • Two staffing shifts per day

The Solution

Group of guests posing with the Flair Airlines 737 MAX branded frame

We placed three digital booths at the TTC and GO West entrance, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and the Food Building. Each location ran two shifts a day, each with an attendant and two brand ambassadors, and the team arrived at 8 AM to build all three sites before gates opened.

At close, the booths were broken down and stored at the Arts and Crafts building on the grounds, then rebuilt the next morning. For the Brampton festival, an Instapod with instant prints, instant sharing and data capture was placed at the entrance so every arriving guest saw it first.

Execution highlights

  • Three branded digital booths across the CNE grounds
  • Full colour photos with a branded digital experience
  • Two shifts per day, each with an attendant and two brand ambassadors
  • Nightly secure storage on site
  • Brampton festival: Instapod with instant prints, sharing and data capture

The Results

Friends at the Flair Airlines photo booth in Brampton

Flair kept a branded photo moment live in three zones of the CNE for all 18 days of the fair, with consistent hours and staffing from first gate to last.

At the Brampton festival, the gallery shows 269 prints produced in a single evening, each one framed with Flair branding.

Guests in festive outfits at the Flair Airlines photo activation

Large public events reward presence. Spreading three digital booths across the grounds put Flair in front of fairgoers wherever they were, and a Brampton photo booth carried the brand into a community festival the same week.
